If you are a school leaver or applying for a first-year place, you can choose from one of two options in applying for student accommodation at eber MIE:

Advanced Booker – Pay a fee to secure a room 

General Waiting List – Apply online after CAO offers

There is a non-refundable Application Fee of €50 for both options.

Advanced Booker

Pay a fee to secure a room

Applicants who wish to secure a room for AY 26/27 may request accommodation via the advance booking option.

  • Rooms are allocated on a first come first serve basis
  • If you are allocated a room, you will receive a link to make the reservation and pay a €350 administration fee to secure your room reservation, this must be paid within 48hrs by credit/debit card.  The administration fee is part of the €920 security deposit which is refundable on check-out.
  • Once we receive this payment your room is confirmed
  • Within 48 hours of accepting the first round CAO offers, you will be required to pay your termly rent option and the balance of the security deposit of €570.
  • Failure to pay your termly option may result in withdrawal of your room offer.
  • Licence to Reside and all required documentation are required prior to check in.

Eligibility Requirement

  • Accommodation is reserved exclusively for registered Marino Institute of Education (MIE) students.
  • Students may be required to provide their MIE student ID number or another official document confirming enrolment at Marino Institute of Education to verify eligibility.
  • If at any stage it is determined that a student is not enrolled at MIE, the accommodation offer may be withdrawn.

Cancellation Policy

  • €50 application fee is non-refundable
  • €350 administration fee is non-refundable.  Students who do not receive enough points to be offered a place in MIE may be eligible to apply for a refund. *Subject to providing evidence within 48hrs of CAO first round offers being released.  Students must have MIE as their first choice on their CAO.

General Waiting List

Apply online after CAO offers

Applicants who wish to apply for accommodation after CAO offers, may register to join the general waiting list.

  • Complete the form below and pay €50 application fee to be added to our general waiting list
  • 48hrs prior to CAO offers being released we will email you a link to complete a booking form if you wish to reserve a room.
  • Available rooms are on a first come first serve basis.
  • If there is a room available to offer you and you wish to accept, you will be required to pay the first rent instalment & security deposit of €920 which is refundable on check-out
  • Failure to make these payments within 48 hours may results in the withdrawal of your room offer.
  • The Licence to Reside and all other documentation are required prior to check in
